POEM: PRESCHOOL GOOD OR BAD

On the way home we had talked about what a night we had. We knew that this would be a
memory that we would have for the rest of our life. We pulled into my driveway and I
stepped out of the car into the cold air. As I opened the door to my house I realized
that I had just encountered one of the most exciting times of my life. The beating of my
heart continues to jump everytime I drive by the building with the red and green sign. At
every stop light, I lock my door and look around to make sure that no one is behind me.
Hoping I don't see that man again. Only wondering what is lerking at the next light or
even around that corner
